Monica Walsh is a grandparent, educator, and writer. She has a Master’s in Education and has spent a lifetime advocating for children and families. She was a special education teacher for years before helping Dr. Dave launch the National Institute on Media and the Family in 1995. During her time there she helped create and write several award winning parent education programs including Though U™, Say Yes to No™, and Switch What You Do, View, and Chew™. She is an expert editor, strategic advisor, and visionary. She is thrilled that Spark & Stitch Institute™ is the latest Walsh family project.
