Sandy Agustin

Sandy has been involved in the arts and nonprofit work for over 40 years. Her first language is movement, dancing behind older siblings to Motown and at 9, learning Hawaiian hula. She considers herself a “cre8tive navigator” who helps individuals and groups move from where they are to where they want or need to be – nonprofits, educational groups, BIPOC entrepreneurs and those at end-of-life.

Sandy has been an artist-performer, choreographer, teacher and arts based facilitator for a variety of groups including Mizna, CAAL, LinkingLeaders, Pangea World Theater, New Arab American Theater, Center for Asian American Leadership. She is a certified End of Life doula, Morning Altars teacher and is a Firekeeper for Maji ya chai Land Sanctuary, a Black-led, nature-based 40 acres in Two Harbors, MN, original homeland of the Dakota & Anishinaabe peoples.
